The park and its terraces

The park of 4,000 m² which surrounds the house gives straight onto the forest. The walled gardens contain a number of species endemic to the region by origin or adoption.

From the car-park, one reaches the living-room and guest-rooms down a flight of about 50 steps making access difficult for people of reduced mobility.

You can make use of the terraced embankments at several different levels. Beyond the spacious sun-deck around the pool, 2 terraces are at your disposal : one for playing table tennis, the other for solitary meditation in a small nook of natural greenery, only disturbed by birdsong and the bleating of the sheep grazing in the nearby undergrowth.

There are as many little terraces around the house as there are guest-rooms.
Not exclusively attached to any particular room, they can be appropriated for the day depending on where you would like to be.

The terraces

	The Bougainvillaea Terrace accommodates up to 20 guests seated in the eastern prolongation of the living-room. A breakfast area in the summer season, it is perfect for aperitifs and meals the rest of the day, and especially for unforgettable barbecues beneath the stars.
	The Bignonne Terrace is situated by the western entrance to the living-room and offers seating for 2 guests at a small bistro table under a wrought-iron awning. Ideal for sharing an Expresso “en tête à tête”...
	The Palm-tree Terrace accommodates 4 guests at a round table of exotic wood. In the welcome shade of a magnificent palm, it is perfect for “al fresco” summer lunches.
	The Rose-laurel Terrace is big enough to seat 6 guests. Isolated in the midst of nature, it lends itself wonderfully to aperitifs at the end of the day and card games as the sun goes down.
	The Moroccan Terrace proposes seating for 4 around a large table in ceramics and wrought-iron from the Atlas mountains. At the far end of the large pool terrace, this is a great place to get together to share a salad or orangeade around mid-day.
	The Plumbago Terrace, around a tiny bistro table beneath the rockery, is an idyllic spot for indulging solo in a good long read.
